is the highest award given annually by the Association of Parents and Friends of Diabetic Children in the Czech Republic.
It can be awarded for a long-term work to important doctors, nurses and other people (representatives of patient organizations, pharmaceutical companies, journalists, politicians, public figures) who significantly helped patients with diabetes by developing and improving diabetes care, for discoveries in the treatment of diabetes, for the education of diabetics.
The annual award is given on the occasion of World Diabetes Day on 14/11 since 2018.

He has allways acts as a professional guarantor on all applications for subsidies for the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. He also participated, as a doctor, at educational stay for patients with diabetes.
We greatly appreciate the help to diabetic children in the Czech Republic and the long-term cooperation with the Association.
The award was given in March as part of the Pediatric Diabetes 2023 conference.
The award was presented by Zdeňka Staňková, President of the Association.
